New Season of Ministry with '3e Ministry Canada'
Recently we have come on staff with e3 Ministry Canada. Joining e3 allows us to continue our ministry as Arise Now under the e3 Ministry umbrella and to also use our speaking, teaching and ministry gifts within the ongoing mission of e3. In joining e3 we are responsible for raising our own support.
For those unfamiliar with e3, they are a remarkable group that originally began in the United States in 1987 as e3 Partners and have grown to 370 missionaries in the US and around the world. The Canadian affiliate was established 13 years ago and has since grown to include over 30 missionaries across the country, actively working both in North America and globally. The mission of e3, encapsulated in their three E’s – Equip, Evangelize, and Establish, resonates with our own desire to make a positive impact both here at home and around the world. Last year e3 Partners (including e3 Canada and other partners around the world) conducted 569,000 baptisms and started 89,000 churches.
In Mark 4:26-29 Jesus said,
“This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”
This verse is key to the e3 framework of ministry. We are specifically impacted by the part of the verse that talks about how once the seed is scattered, ‘Night and day, whether he (the sower/farmer) sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grow, though he does not know how.” We recognize that we are seed sowers.
Throughout our journey as Arise Now since its inception in 2015, we have been committed to sharing God’s love, hope and power—the seeds of the kingdom through various means such as
• itinerant speaking (teaching/preaching)
• books written, videos produced
• social media engagement
• our weekly Sunday morning shows
• focus groups on Zoom
• five years as weekly radio show guests
• Dinner out with Paul and Angie (hosting dinners in which we shared a 20 minute talk at a local restaurant)
We have now produced
• 390+ ‘Two Minute Wake Up Calls’
• 200+ ‘Sunday Morning Programs
• 365+ ‘A Verse and a Prayer’ daily videos and written form
Since the beginning of 2023 alone, we have reached over 50 nations with over 325,000 views through our social media ministry, while also speaking over 25 times in various church settings and putting out our weekly Facebook Sunday Morning Program. We have had many responses from people who have been blessed by our ministry.
While we have been incredibly grateful for the doors that have opened for ministry, sustaining Arise Now financially has been a challenge. While we were considering registering Arise Now as a charity, we reached out to e3 Canada and decided that by joining this ministry of passionate followers of Jesus we would have better tools, strategies and accountability that would benefit and enhance our mission going forward.
In this new chapter we are excited to see what new avenues of ministry the Lord opens up for teaching and training in Ontario, across Canada and abroad. We will have opportunity to participate in international mission trips led by e3 staff. For many years, we have felt a calling to travel and minister in other countries, and now, this dream can become a reality.
To accomplish what God has put on our hearts we can no longer do it alone. We need a team to support us in prayer and financially to cover expenses, travel and a part-time salary. Would you prayerfully consider joining our support team as a ministry partner? Your commitment, whether through prayer, a monthly donation or special gifts, will play a crucial role in advancing the work we are called to do.
We thank you for your time and consideration.
